Siân Martin

Siân Martin has been a maker of textile art since she graduated from Birmingham Polytechnic with a BA Hons and MA in Embroidery. She exhibits with the '62 Group of Textile Artists', www.62group.freeuk.com, as well as the 'Practical Study Group'.

Siân is currently exploring digital prints and computerised stitchery within her mixed media relief textiles. The sculptural forms of egg shells, the texture of broken shell fragments and their associated connections with food source, folklore and childbirth have been sources of recent interest.
